Now Is Not The Time To Be A “Cool Kid” And Break The Rules
It’s no secret that the whole world right now is basically living in fear, a type of fear that we have never felt before and a type of fear we never saw coming.
COVID-19 has well and truly taken over our lives in almost every way and if there is one positive that comes out of all of this, I hope people can take a step back and see that everything they always think they “need, need, need” is more of a case of “WANT, WANT, WANT”.
We are so lucky to have access to so many different things, have access to technology, have streamings services that we can watch endless things on, have music put straight on to our phones, games we can play on our phones, group FaceTime calls, so so so many things we have access to… we are so lucky.
I hope that everyone can take a step back and look around us and be thankful.
Listen to what our leaders are saying, do not fight… listen to and respect the decisions.
We don’t need to go out and fight and risk our lives at war, we are being asked to stay at home as much as possible and to be clean, this can actually be simple if we allow it, we can stay at home and be safe…. or you can take the risk to risk our own life and so many others by choosing to be ignorant by going out and being a “hero”…. and if you do that and then you impact others… trust me no one will be clapping you.
We should be thankful we even have access to breaking news as it’s happening, be thankful we have access to the supplies we need and be thankful that right now most of us have our health… because if you don’t listen, in just a few days it could be a very different story.
As much as this is hard to digest, it is hard to digest for everyone, the whole world is in a state of shock and panic… do not make things worse by going against the rules that have been put in place, you aren’t helping anyone and especially are not helping yourself.
Please, just during all of this and after, please, just please be kind.
